Having worked in manufacturing with surface-mount automation for years, I can truly say this is impressive work! The procedural nature and arrangement of everything, the intricate lattice work, the steadiness of the stepper motors, and the rigidness of the chassis are all outstanding! Congrats on some very technical, and I assume, very satisfying work 👍🏻😎

The only thing I can imagine would make it more awesome was if all the mind storms could be exchanged for mechanical computation devices. Kind of the way i once back 30 years ago made a machine which could put glass balls in a tray and when the tray was full get a new tray. It filled up a 3-slot shift register with the glass balls and when the register was full it dropped the row and advanced the tray one row except when the tray was full then it advanced more to load the new tray I used conveyor-belts with studs to do the programming of when a new tray was needed, kind of like Wintergatan programs his marble machine (and if you don't know that one, you are definitely missing out on a amazing project!)

its interesting how much simpler wrapping a box seems when you dont have to keep the box in the same space and only have arms on one side of it. A lot less flipping and turning than one is used to
