I'm glad you showed this story... If I remember correctly it was all light tanks and a few medium tanks... Even if the pz2 and pz3 wanted to kill it not only would they need to get it on the side but at point blank... but the kv1 wasn't alone and wasn't even close in the official battle and German docs from what I've read and heard there was a total of 7 kv1 tanks and a few t series tanks and the official number tanks is technically unconfirmed so when it's the number is from both sides is where the number comes from so in the 20's is completely possible especially against light tanks... Great vid regardless

And with some fightings they were moving to soviet border but the Tiger ran out of gas and all of them were killed. So T-34 is inspired bu that real story. It may be impossible for 1 tank to destroy 22 tanks but it is said that the KV1 is a stronger and a heavier tank and German tanks have thin armour and weak cannons, the only tanks the Germans have are just Panzer III M/Gs, Panzer II AUSFs and also the Panzer IV but there was stunning lack of Panzer IVs in the fight at Voiskovitsy because it may take many days, weeks or months for a full-on German Panzer IV army to mobilize.
@jrw2electricboogaloo411 Жыл бұрын
Panzer III at this point should have had access to 50 mm gun and even then 37 mm are capable of killing a kv1 through the driver's view port and Russian tanks during World War II wore very brittle due to the temperature that they were heat treated at got that depends on the factory that made it in the type of tank because some some heavy tanks were given more specialty in design than others
@LCMhistory Жыл бұрын
True, but still in 1941 not many german tanks had modern weapons. And the KV-1 was dug into the ground. No drivers viewport above the ground. So in general this story could be real. However I stick to the theory that this is more like propaganda.

In reality, in 194, Germans more often used Panzer 3 tanks with modifications. In paper famous Soviet tank T-34 much better than Panzer 3, but in reality T-34 tanks was like blind kitten's without communication with each other because of what Germans easily destroying their. Yeah, Panzers 3 haven't powerful guns, but it is not the cannon that destroys the enemy tank, but the projectile, Germans has really good cumulative projectiles, which easily penitrate T-34 armour. Kv-1 tanks has really good armour which Germans can't easily penetrate, but they using good tactics and communications. And we shouldn't forget about Soviet lie in reports, when they destroy first Tiger tank they starts writing about destroying dozens of Tigers
