Met him at a convention in the UK, got my Crow DVD signed, and was talking about how nice Brandon Lee was, and he believed he had a huge future. He praised a lot of people he worked with. He was humble, funny, and friendly and made every fan that day feel special. When most of the attendees had left, Tony was still there chatting to fans. I went back up to thank him for a wonderful experience, and he hugged me and thanked me for going to see him. Absolutely a legend.

One of my favorite actors. Had the pleasure to meet him in the 1990s at a Star Trek convention in Baltimore . I was fortunate enough to have about a 10 minute conversation with him. Outstanding actor, father and man. He will be missed. 😢

A sad loss. He was truly a great actor and as to his horror work he is right up there with Lee and Cushing, the are the three greatest horror actors of all time. Candyman is easily in the top ten Horrors of the 90s.

I can say ALOT about Tony Todd but when I watch Hatchet 2 , I always find myself rewatching the part where he tells the story about Victor Crowley, it’s the voice, it’s eerily haunting and I’m just going to miss him but at least he left us his work for us to watch over and over again.❤RIP Tony Todd

Tony made over 200 films according to Tony himself, he worked in theatre, he provided the voice for video games and had a very full and busy life, a brilliant actor with a memorable voice, he was in so many things i love including characters in Star Trek and of course Clive Barkers Candyman, R.I.P. to a vert special talent and individual, Mr Tony Todd.

Rest in peace, Tony Todd. He was phenomenal as an older Jake Sisko in DS9's most poignant and moving episode, The Visitor. And he was great in that X-Files episode Sleepless, the one about Vietnam War vets experimented on by the government to create perfect killing machine soldiers. Think I'll give that a watch that next Monday as it seems like a fitting tribute on Veterans Day.

1st met tony in candyman when i was about 8...7 idk.... was home alone.... mom was t worked and it was on tv..... in those days everything on tv was good.... especially movies.... this was about 99...2000... then when it was finished we got black out and i was scared asf.... i remember going under he covers and sleep till my mom came home..... could swore i saw him in the mirror in the dark.... kids.... rip scaryman
