I have done 4 tours of ladakh in my Maruti RITZ.You can find the videos in my playlist. So 4by4 is not needed. You can visit anytime between May to October

As per your advice , your route from Srinagar is , Srinagar to Mulbekh(N/S) then Mulbekh to Kargil (N/s) then Kargil to Leh. After acclimatization Leh to Pangong Lake (N/s) then Pangong Lake to Hanley . Now can I return to Manali from Hanley in one day Secondly will there be petrol pump in the way from Hanley to Manali Please reply

Hanle to Manali in a single day would be very hectic and require an early morning start. I would suggest to divide the journey into two parts. I am not sure but I don't think it's possible. The scenario keeps changing every year... In recent years there have been incidents where local people have been objecting to tourists coming in vehicles rented from other districts. So if you want to explore Ladakh better to rent a bike from Leh itself

While driving from Leh towards Manali... Lato which is 70 kms from Leh is the last village where you will get a proper accommodation...rest in Pang and Sarchu you will only get make shift tents or a bed in local dhabas. I would suggest you to drive to Lato... Stay there and start early in the morning and drive straight to Jispa.

Srinagar to Leh is good 90% except for some sections before and after Zojila pass which requires skilful driving. Leh to Manali is tricky and a lot depends upon weather conditions.
