Saroj Khan's philosophy was always chadte suraj ko salaam. When Sridevi was Number One she got into a tiff with Rekha over rehearsals going to the extent of saying to Rekhas face that since today's Number One Sridevi never said no to rehearsals hence how could Rekha say no to rehearsals. Later in the 90s when Madhuri started rising she took no time in switching loyalties telling Sridevi bluntly (who had always supported her ) ki tera suraj doob raha hai and Madhuri kas sooraj chadh raha hai isliye use acche gaane mil rahe hain . Even if it were true theres a way of communicating with people who are close to you.
