Today I would like to present you one of the cheapest Ernst Leitz Wetzlar lenses.
Depending on the optical and cosmetic condition, you will have to pay around 100 Euros for this lens, but perfectly preserved lenses, especially in black finish, can be much more expensive (as of May 2023).
I'm a big fan of the 135mm focal length, relative to the 35mm format, whether analog or digital.
So today I present to you a lens of this focal length:
Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Hektor 4.5/13.5cm
I'll also show you how to use Adobe Lightroom Denoise to further improve your image results.
More about analog, hybrid and digital photography can be found on my homepage www.apertureonepointfour.com
Thank you or your time and interest!

Very good presentation. It would be interesting to see the lens perform on a Leica M. I know that some Leitz lenses and even some modern Voigtlander lenses do not perform very well on Sony digital cameras. Something to do with the thickness of the glass filters on the sensor, I believe.

Yes, exactly. The problem is the thickness of the glass filter in front of the sensor. This is especially noticeable with wide-angle lenses. The corners of the image appear blurred, and sometimes there is a greenish cast.

I think the vignetting in your photos came from your lens hood.

Hello and thank you for your comment. But why would an original Leitz lens hood cause vignetting?

@@apertureonepointfour if that's the case, you're totally right and that came probably from your camera itself.I use this lens and got not vignetting though. I checked on the internet to make sure but I couldn't find any severe vignetting as well. Anyway, thanks for your clips they're awesome, keep it up 👏
