I too have a very large Porsche collection -- I think you would understand... for example; 73 Carrera RS original... So I get your thought about quality and uniqueness... That said, I am a Sony A7R user for over 10 years... It's just better technology and images. I own a Q2 Monochrome and its solid but with only a 28mm -- it has a very narrow use case... Same with Q2. I also need (want) great autofocus so M is not anywhere on my wish list. I do plan on getting a Q3 and hope it narrows technology gaps because it matters to me... Sony features are not just gimmicks... Also, someone who prints very large format images; 44" x 60" -- you do need mp's and they are super important for cropping on a 28mm lens and you also lose depth of field after cropping -- I cant always use my feet when an image is a distance and I want close details - that is why they invented long lenses ... Anyway, thanks for the vid.

your take on walking to change the focal length you need is disappointing. Compression, physical limitations of the space you're shooting among other considerations make it moot.

I get this point across my bodies and m lenses. But q is produced in Japan based on their automation. Qs scarcity and hype is man made. There is no single reason it's not mass produced. It's lens is machine made fly by wire assembly in Japan. It's inards all Panasonic albeit it's proprietary and Panasonic doesn't produce anything the same under its own brand. M line body is 50 percent mechanical which is crafted by hand in Germany. M lenses are 100 percent crafted by hand in Germany in very small numbers. Hence the price and scarcity. But q line are no different from Sony Nikon canon Panasonic Fuji mass production.

@@Helderburg ... to be more positive - it was a good display of conspicuous Leica bling (... and car bling ... and the Galanz refrigerator). I agree the Leica image quality, especially the dynamic range of the M11 sensor is superior. ... And, it is rare to see a Leica user criticize the slow rollout of features or higher than market norm pricing. So, it must have something going for it all. Be well.

I disagree with the term ‘Leica elitist’. Leica cameras are bespoke instruments. I do agree with the comment on ‘conspicuous bling’, should the focus be on the camera and not the ‘pricy props’ behind.
