Leicester Square Electricity Infrastructure Upgrade Project - Our Journey Part 1

This week marks one year since our ED1SON Alliance delivery team started on site in Leicester Square! Here’s our journey since day 1 in the first of a mini documentary following the progress of this historic project.
In the last year we’ve worked with The Clancy Group and Wilson Power Solutions to replace two 90-tonne electricity transformers to ensure a reliable future electricity supply for the heart of London.
People often ask ‘Whereabouts in Leicester Square is the site?’ They are always surprised to hear that it’s 4 floors beneath the actual Leicester Square Gardens.
