I agree he’s been good at club level recently but it’s too late. He’s proved time and time again he’s not good enough at international level. He’s good behind a dominant pack which is going forward but other than that he’s awful. He was no where near close to be picked for the lions which says everything.

@Max Wright “Awful”? Maybe he was lacking in form in the last year or so internationally but it’s just silly to say he’s an awful test rugby player. He’s one of the best tactically minded fly halves in the world. His ability to read and control the game is exceptional. Just because he doesn’t goose step like Marcus Smith doesn’t mean he’s an awful 10.

@@maximoo98 I disagree. Just because he doesn’t have the flair of smith or reliability of Farrell people write him off. Ford and Farrell as a 10-12 combo is golden, and smith to exhibit the flair we need off the bench at either position would be great. Ford brings out the best in everyone else at his detriment. Not sure I’m going to judge someone based on there chance of being picked for lions, being as Daly got picked for the lions.

He's still an option, he's just not THE option at the moment. There's quite a few number 10s coming through so it's a good thing to have 4 or 5 players fighting for the England 10 jersey.
