"LEICHILGI MEICHAK" is a golden song from the movie Olangthagi Wangmadasu released in 1980.
This song was originally sung by Legendary singer Arambam Jamuna, written by Khumanthem Prakash, one of the most prominent figures in Manipuri literature and composed by Padmashri Aribam Shyam Sharma. This song still catches the feelings of the young lovers even after 30years.
In Tamna Season 02, the song is sung by Surma Chanu.
Surma Chanu is one of the leading singers of the present generation. She is popular for her sweet and melodious voice.

PHAJARE... Ice cream da umorok happa Pholada thum thakpa malle. The original song has a very strong theme music which carry the whole song the compositing was something like the "lonely shepherd" very distinct... I don't know whether the singer is singing a song or humming a song... At times I feel like the singer is humming a song and walking and the orchestra came in motorcycle and drag the singer with a rope.. Musical instruments may be Indian or western but what comes out of it matters, I don't know the guitar filler in between the song Indians western or Manipuri but it's not part of the song.. I felt.. The singer is coolly singing at sub zero temperature and the percussion in the background sounds like a sword battle is going on or somebody playing fruit ninja.. I can imagine how difficult it must be and how much effort it must have taken to come up with a production like this.. I am not a musician but as an avid listener of Manipuri song, am just conveying how I felt after listening the song. Wishing you guys a better one next time.

Dude!! Few musicians lack enthusiasm and authenticity, agreed but i disagree with your conclusion that the song and vocal is substandard!! Khusak khusak lei esei. Even Jagjit singh hardly opens his mouth while singing ghazal!! As far as the old song is concerned, i believe the creators have done justice 😊
