He actually has a good singing voice!. The teen idol thing didn’t last and why he had no good management to find him some decent songs to sing and record so his career didn’t die out the way it did surprises me. The drug problems side tracked him and then he was dropped and forgotten. Amazing how fast and hard one can fall! The sad thing Is that he actually sings well and all he needs is one good hit song and he’d be big again! He should go to Nashville and find some songwriters to write him some decent material. It doesn’t have to Be country music. It could be pop., Forget LA! LAs a den of vipers! He needs a new album with a couple of good songs and he could be a success again.

Leif, I had a huge crush on you when I first saw you on Three for the Road. I met you when I was 13 and you were 15 in the Oxnard area. My best friend and I went with my parents to visit some of their friends and we heard something going on next door and when we looked over the fence, we saw some kid skateboarding in an empty swimming pool and camera equipment being set up. I told my friend, “That looks like my celebrity crush, Leif Garrett!” Then you walked over to the fence, introduced yourself and said that you were filming a documentary film about skateboarding. My friend was too shy to talk, but you and I had a bout a 5 minute conversation. You were so very nice and I’ll always remember how I got to have a face to face conversation with my celebrity crush! I wish that I could talk to you once again, to tell you how much God loves you (John 3 vs 16) and has loved you before you were ever born. God has great plans for you (Jeremiah 29 vs 11), plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope. This life is so very temporary, but then there is eternity. #HeavenIsMyEternalHome
