This just shows how much being in a group can diminish how much range you actually have that people don’t often see. People assumed Leigh Anne’s upper register was lacking but really she just didn’t get to show it. This is so beautiful and I love her voice in this register it’s so different and gave me chills. The great thing about Leigh Anne is she is one of few artists that can sing multiple genres and she herself said she doesn’t wanna be boxed into one genre. However her doing R&B would be where she shines vocally the most especially the ballads. She has such a flexible voice but when she does ballads we get to hear the powerful side, the higher register’s basically all is given in this genre. Can’t wait to hear what she wrote for the r&b tunes.
