Lol me and my fiancé did actually apply to be on house hunters but we actually had already purchased his grandparents’ old home, which they said was perfect. They prefer if you’ve already started the financing process on the house you’ve decided on. They did a Skype interview with us and told us we had to pick different styles of houses and come up with a list of things to disagree on. They wanted us to purposely disagree on everything. They had us act out things we each liked and hated about our house at the time but disagree on those things. Then they said that they would come film for a week and we had to take off work for the whole week even if we weren’t constantly being filmed. We had to be available for whenever the lighting was right or whatever. Then they said they’d compensate us $500 for taking off that whole week. No thanks. It was such a hassle and we couldn’t move into the new house before they came to film but we had to because we had renters moving in for our old house. So we decided to pass. Still, it would’ve been cool to say we had been on the show. But yes, it’s all staged.

Leigh Ann, you should download the zillow app. So you can look as you're driving around. If you go to the app and put in current location as the city. It will show you all the nearby houses for sale. You can also see the recently sold prices and close open houses. I swear I don't work for Zillow's app. I just think it's really helpful. 🤣🤣

I really like The Dirt but I am a fan of their first two albums. If you can look beyond the nudity, the story of the band is a good one. It doesn't sugarcoat anything. I love Bohemian Rhapsody more than The Dirt but I think it's worth a watch.

You’ll find something! Our house sold 2 days after listing so we’ve been power house hunting for the last month and finally found one we love. It’s nothing like the modern updated houses we’d been looking at but it’s got so much 20’s charm and character we couldn’t resist ☺️

I'm obsessed with mid-century modern houses. Fort Worth is actually where there are some still intact. I like the Overton Park/Tanglewood area but they're on the larger size. Some smaller ones are off Hulen between Central Market and Trader Joe's. We're house hunting but I think we've decided to rent another year or two into the market does down and prices drop some. In the last five years it's gotten out of hand here!

That house with the little nursery off to the side is AMAZING!!!! As a parent with 3 kids I would LOVE to have the baby nursery as a little room off of ours! And when the child is older they can have their own room but holy moly I love that set up

Not sure how you dried your bangs but try taking a large round brush, bring your bangs straight up, and roll the brush towards the back of your head. So basically the way you’d do the top half of bangs with a curling iron, 80’s style, but when you do it with a large round brush to all of your bangs, you’ll get the good sweep to either side. Hope that makes sense! 😂

I hope you find the retro ranch of your dreams. I live in a 1950's ranch-style home and I love it! When we were getting ready to paint, we were scraping the siding and found out that the house was originally flamingo pink and seafoam green. So we did what any respectable couple does. We painted it purple with lime sherbet green doors to try to pay homage to it's original, colorful self.

I could literally watch you vlog every day of your life with Grant and Luna! I did the basal body temp thing back in the 70’s. Wasn’t ovulating so had to take Clomid for almost a year. I got to the highest dose (at that time) before it started working. I had to chart it out on a graph by hand. I was so used to sticking in my mouth every morning even after I got pregnant I was still reaching for it in the morning. You are so blessed to have the technology of today to make it easier. When my dr finally retired they gave me my whole original chart with all my temp charts in it. So I have the one that made me realize I might finally be pregnant! That miracle will be 40 next month!! Don’t say anything to her she’s not taking it well 😢🥰

The houses all looked huge to me! Where I live in England our houses are just so small, really tiny. When you are driving around in Dallas, or wherever, the roads are just so wide. America just seems spacious.

The area of the Disney Street houses is a wonder area. I live a little south of there. You can get any where in the city in about 15 minutes from that area. Good luck on the house hunting.

I live in Fort Worth. One the thing to remember living in the DFW area is if the neighborhood has overhead utility lines you are more likely to have power outrages. the trees and wind blow down lines and blow out transformers. Buried utilities are better. Not gUaranteed. But better
