Lovly Painting ❤. I love the granulating Colours and used to paint very often with. My favourite colour is tundra Violet especially in landscapes or simply for the background. Moonglow is a beautiful colour but not lightfast (PR177!). You could mix it at your own with PB29, PG18 and the red shade of PV19. It works really well.

Yes granulated colour are beautiful. And you are absolutely correct most of them are easy to mix if you have the right colours. These are more convenience colors I guess 😊

Wonderful presentation. Thank you. I LOVE granulating watercolors. If I were to speculate, free spirits are okay with granulating watercolors; Perfectionists are not.😂

Thank you. Haha I think it also may depend on the style that is used but granulation is such a cool thing that is very hard to mimic with other media 😊

Hey Leila : - **This Very Much Seems Like Your "Granulation 2.0"??**, and, in a good way : - Reference to - like you mention at the end - the first upload on the subject a couple of years ago now, re: Granulation?.... 60,000 Very Justified Views : Your Most Popular Of The Channel??!. I just hope it gets as widely watched/enjoyed, and - with similar or even higher viewing numbers compared to "Granulation Episode 1"...... Even as a non-artist : I still find them really interesting, and - your voice-over is the "icing on the cake" relaxation-wise. Hi to Kitty too, just a shame we didn't get an appearance from him this episode..... There's Plenty Of Time For That Though??!!. You surely can't paint with a cat in your hands, or, even on your lap eh???!!. Bye Chuck x

Yes this is more of a focus on a specific kind of granulating paint. I’m glad you are enjoying the videos 😊 the cat is much braver now so goes outside and spends a bit less time in the studio. He still makes appearances though, there are some videos that are in the pipe line that he is in 😊

That is absolutely gorgeous! Did you ever created the Pole-light (that beautiful green light) with granulation?

"Open Rosa"!! I've not heard of that before, I've heard of Opera Rose, but not "Open", interesting. What brand is that?
@LeilaAtaya2 күн бұрын
It’s almost the same as Opera rose- I have that color from Windsor& newton. Open Rosa is from Schmincke. You don’t need both they are very similar 😊

@LeilaAtaya Ah. I only got a few of their supergranulating colours. Not a pink. Thanks for letting me know. It's a strange name for any colour: "Open" just makes me think of Golden's Open Acrylic range, "Open" meaning slow drying there. Confusing to hear a watercolour called "Open" at all. Glad it's cleared up. By the way: have you tried WET salt crystals in your watercolour swatches? I heard of this a few days ago, but I'm not sure if it means you have to dunk the crystals into water first or just that you need a good deal of water on the swatch at the time. I'm usually unhandy enough to have a lot of water on a swatch anyway, it certainly works better than a drier swatch does - but then I sloppily add a fair bit of the colour too. Have fun!

@@FranOnTheEdge This pink is not granulating, it's very smooth just like Opera one. Not sure about 'wet' salt, is it different from just sprinkling salt onto wet paint?
