On our 2019 Unity (2018 chassis) we just press the SYS button on the dash to activate the backup camera. Not useful for changing lanes but fine for watching the TOAD.

Just got my LTV and posted on the LTV Enthusiast group on Facebook, asking for advice on what i needed to get, got lots of great advice. One gentleman suggested I look at your KZbin channel, which I had been doing for a while. I got to tell him that you were partially responsible for me falling in love with the LTV Unity.

What is your opinion on getting an inspection on a NEW LTV Unity FX. I think you bought yours new. If you buy a new one some day would you get it inspected?

I wouldn’t. Anything that is faulty will be covered by warranty. Just camp a few nights in it close to your dealership and test all systems. If something is wrong, it will pop up pretty quick.

Great video I would recommend a Can Am Spyder instead of the Maverick. Also is it's less weight to tow 🌳🚙🌳

I don't think so. My Maverick has a few recalls that Ford can't fulfill yet, and they don't seem too worried about it.

Brandon: 1). The rear view camera is a good idea. But, the unit profiled is $312… a bit pricey. Is there an alternative product less expensive? Also, any recommendations on a dash cam? 2). Towing - I tow a 2 door Jeep. Recently I had to replace the front tires on my LTV AND all 4 tires on the Jeep due to “cupping”. The bad tires were only a few years old with plenty of tread, but uneven wear. Do you know if this is common when towing? Would Sumo front suspension additions on the LTV be beneficial or worth the expense? Thanks!

I think this particular unit is more expensive due to it having 2 cameras. They have single camera setups, and the company was good to work with, but I'm pretty sure any rear view camera manufacturer with good reviews will suffice. I haven't heard of the tire issue before, but that's interesting it happened to six of yours. I've never done any suspension upgrades, but the people who have rave about it. Hope that helps!

I'd rather do the extra work and get a rear camera display thats built into the rear mirror. Less clutter and more natural to look there
