When Lata sang these songs in the early 2000 she frankly and honestly admitted by singing these songs by almost all male Indian film singers she did not want to prove that she was better than any of them but her singing these is a musical shardhanjli to these mahan kalakar as she put it. The prople who say she sang it better than the originals are not committing any sin, they have every right to think and say it, I think Lata sang it better and thats my opinion!
