That's a good question! Wind noise can be so difficult to discuss. I've had two almost identical vehicles with the exact same set ups, cross bars, bike rack and box. One would make wind noise when the customer drove at highway speeds, the other was whisper quiet. The only difference in the end was one of the vehicles had slightly bigger Winter tires on. There is usually something that can be done if the noise is too loud. I'd suggest emailing [e-mail]. They are the store that installed that specific rack, and if wind noise was a common issue I'm sure they would have heard about it. Thanks for the question!

Dang. I have a Silverado they make racks for everything but Chevy. Do you know of any cab racks that with be level to the top of the Leitmer load bars?

No we do not. We've narrowed our focus to Yakima and Thule truck racks.
