Random as fuck, to the guy stating "need a 4090 to render water in ancient" CS2 physics appear heavy on CPU. upgraded my 3990x with 4090 running ancient as low as 45-50 with 5 guys water running. After the upgrade to the 7800x3d now I don't drop below 167. 3440x1440 is my res. CS2 is big on CPU i can see this in the wait times and busy times for CPU and GPU as well.
