In a Dream was the song you started with! (Great song as well) I saw Firefall many times and later saw him in Capitola, ca in the Roberts-Meisner Band . In 2011 I had lunch with him and Mary in a restaurant south of Longmont. My first hearing of him was in a Christmas party at my record store manager’s house. The store employees were handing out as he played some demo albums and Windmills was one of them. I was so taken by the music that my manager gifted me the demo album. One of the songs that hit me deeply was (and still is) Jenny’s Blues. Just you and Rick - perfection.

Wow, just up the road from where I used to live several years ago Was that maybe a restaurant that used to be called Double Tree? Probably newer places by that time though. I don't always think about the actual numbers of years between coming and going thousands of miles back and forth all over the place. Every place I ever went stays mapped in my head like it's all part of a same town or region when it's a swath of around 35 states give or take a few, haven't tried to count them since I was much younger. Remember the roads and different paths though from long time long distance driving all the possible different ways, to get to the same places and have small details that stick with me too. Just went every where the the first half my life, and have aerial based maps in my head as well with several revisions of changes as a layered montage of same area maps over time. I just realize way more significant building and other business development could have been there between my last visuals and kinesthetic on ground experiences of Longmont, landmarking familiarities. Years ago, there was a mall in Longmont called Twin Peaks, 🤣 This was existing before the TVminiseries. ...but slight after that while visiting my parents I got my mom to take a lampoon like picture of me holding a log in front of the Twin Peaks mall sign getting the mountains in the background doing my best Log Lady stance, because I knew my friends would get a kick out of it, back here. I just put the log in the car trunk from out of the back yard, on the chance we would go to that mall, after circling through Boulder or Lafayette. It was shocking then how much more houses and high rise apartments were covering what had always just been largely fields with horses running around in them like taking 7 going up I 25 that way to or from Longmont. Anyway it's just an interesting thing to know you were around that area to Cohalen.

I know how hard it must be to not be able to call her. That's the hardest thing! 😢❤ I can feel your deep love for her. ❤ Please know I'm thinking of her today and always. I would have loved to have given her the biggest hug. ❤🙏😇 Giving you a BIG hug!! I'm so sorry to hear about Linda Rondatdt's brother passing. 😢❤🙏 Rick Roberts, great tunes, Lee! Thank you so much. 🎸🎶🥰 Today was a chilly and very windy day on the Cape. That arctic wind is coming in, alright. Brrrrr. But, we're New Englanders, and we're used to it. A beautiful, sunny day today over Martha's Vineyard Sound. 🌊 🌊 🌊 ⛵️ So excited for Clubhouse on Wednesday! See you then, Lee! I ❤ you!!! 🎶🥰

Thanks you so much for reprising Sail Away. I bought Windmills when it came out ... I was living (as I still do) in the wild hills of mid-Wales, in a dilapidated cottage miles from anywhere at that time, and obsessed about that song. It returns me to those simpler times, when hope was still a valid commodity ... And Marc Benno's input to this album is absolutely in the pocket! Such a lovely record.

Telepathic Flowers sent in honor of TRUDY(sp?). Picture your Mom's favorite FLowers in a vase!!! A Mom's Prayer: She was a pillar, a gift of love, a treasure to my soul. Always caring, ever kind, and giving, even as she grew old. To me, she was a lovely mum, to you a beloved child. I could only know her a little, you knew her spirit deep inside. Whilst waves of grief break over me, crushing like a storm, You've greeted her with a warm embrace, and gently called her home. It's silent and so empty here, since she passed away, and yet she will hear celebration, called forever into grace. My memories are treasures now, I'll value, keep and sow, I know she's taken all her riches, left the chaff, and worn the gold! As time passes, I'll forget the hurt and pain she bore, For now, she's free, restored, and peaceful, in your arms forevermore. I'll let each bulb, each bud, each bloom, sing to me of your love. For you reign in eternity, and I'll wait for your kingdom to come. Thank you for my special mum, I trust her to your care, we rest in your arms secure and safe, we are both children there.
