Hello, is there any information about the LEM brand online ? (E.g., history, location, old product lines etc.) Thank you.

LEM is an Italian brand that was bought by General Music. They are known for the LEM Echo Music and the LEM Baby Echo. This last one was also a good mixer at the time. We still license the LEM brand from General Music for use in the plugin. General Music is now a Finnish company best know for the GEM Promega 2+.

I downloaded the trial and a couple of things bug me. 1. I can't figure out how to put the plugin in the 100% wet mode to put it on a send. I always hear the dry signal. Is the plugin meant as an insert only? 2. What does the stereo button do? It doesn't seem to do anything. It sounds mono all the time unless I move the pan pots or volume 1&2 but then its just panned, not stereo.

1. The original Lem Echo Music is indeed meant to be used as an insert only, and so is our plug-in. That being said, if you turn up the recording volume and echo knobs, then you could probably use it on a bus. 2. The stereo button switches the tape to 2 virtual tracks instead of only 1 track, so channels 1 (left) and 2 (right) are recorded separately instead of being summed together. In other words, if your input signal is stereo, then with the stereo button off you will hear the delayed signal in mono and perfectly centered, even if you pan your input signal all the way left and right.
