Question. How do you clean it once you are done with it?

I just empty the water out and Then dry it with a paper towel. Haven’t used any other method.

I just got this I love it I pre soaked the work but it still does not fog a lot how did you get yours to fog a lot?

I just plugged it in, actually. Didn’t do anything specific other than use about one cup of water

Can this run without the music playing?

Yes. All of the newer villages have a wheel style attached remote which can adjust the volume, with the minimum being the muted option
