Lemax Christmas Village 2023 HD 1080p

This Lemax Christmas village has many more moving pieces rearing horse, lamp man lighting lamp, people moving over pond bridge, people moving around town and along the street. It's a long process to put this together. Over 1800' of wire with arduino electronics and codes, lots of mechanical structures on the underside. Apologies for the little shaking here and there but could not justify buying a gimbal stabiliser for a 10 minute video. Still, I hope you enjoy watching it and I hope it makes you feel more like you're there. Thank you.

I just watched the video of your 2012 village, and comparing it to 2024, I’m amazed at how all the moving pieces have evolved and improved. Like the boat in the first video that just went around. Your videos have been an inspiration and motivation to improve my own village ✨

The making of my village takes weeks. It would be hard to videotape the complete setup but you are correct in saying magnets. It has taken me years to perfect my ‘Moveator’ as I call it. It’s done with specially designed gears along with high density plastic. The motor is a simple basic hobby motor. I can design and shape, length no matter how complex with ease. I use ARDUINO electronics to control the gates over the pond, the lamp guy going up and down the ladder and the rearing horse. It’s a labour of love.

This video is absolutely beautiful, I really felt like I was in your Christmas Village. I could only dream of creating a masterpiece like this, just don't have the room or cash for such a project here, plus don't seem to have any decent crafting and Christmas stores either. The animated people are wonderful, especially the bucking horse and people on their bikes, the music you used really topped this whole wonderland of beauty off nicely, thanks for sharing your magical village with us all. I do wish the UK would get more with it at Christmas, granted we have the kind of children's versions of trains to go under or around your tree's but nothing to this scale, “WOW!” I can only imagine the hours of work that went into the setting up but what a remarkable result, this video just wasn't long enough for me, I think I got too engrossed in it LOL! ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR VILLAGE!!! With all the movement this is by far the coolest village set up I've seen. Is the " lake " in the very beginning actual water or some sort of tablet playing a water scene. I'm taking about the one where the person crosses back and forth and the gates move.

Thank you for your very kind comment. I really do appreciate it very much. The lake or pond in the beginning is actually a video. I used one of those digital picture frames that allow you to upload you photos and dimply them. amazon sells a lot of them. The pond video is just a basic overhead view of a real water scene but digitally on a continuous loop.

@@roysullivan845 Thanks for your reply! I only started my Christmas village 2 years ago and it's nothing special but it makes me happy, lol. I've been adding pieces as I find them on sale or whatever. And I don't have a lot of figurines yet but have purchased a few so far. I'm more into digital decorating, I currently run 4 different projectors and have 3 different TV's in windows. But I'm definitely getting more into Christmas villages and plan to just add as I can. .

@@stain0269 Digital Decorationing.... that's awesome. You might like to know that I also use a projector on my village. I project a snowfall over the whole village sometimes. I also use a lot of ARDUINO in my village. The gates opening and closing and the guy repairing the lamp, the horse rearing up and down as examples. I would appreciate a link if you have any videos? if none at this point then whenever you can. I'd love to see your digital projections.

Where did you get that train from?

I got the train and the track from the stores here in Hong Kong. The company is called PLARAIL and they are Japanese. I paint the tracks grey. I use this because it’s so easy to setup and manipulate the tracks. They even have flexible tracks. I added the tiny LED light on the front of the train. 😝

@@mastersullivan Who is the manufacturer of the train? I live here in the US your village is amazing. I’m thinking of doing a Harry Potter like that. I’m actually built the Harry Potter castle in Legos. I’m going to do Harry Potter/The Grinch Universal Studios with my Lemax rides and all that.

I’m assuming yours is electrical in that battery ?

It runs on 2 AA batteries and it operates on a ON/OFF switch. I put the headlight on myself with an LED and a small 3V flat battery.
