Another great video. I like both accessories, especially the Lemax treehouse when lit. The pumpkins look like spooky moons. Have to admit my fave water tower is still D56 pumpkin. Also, at first I thought the neck pegs on Frankenstein's creature doubled as lights. BTW, I am not that familiar with Patreon but would like to join your group (or whatever it's called) sometime soon-- I just have to check into it more. :)

Love both of the accessories! Both look amazing, and I’m very glad that you talked about them. The pumpkin treehouse looks very very cool, but I did notice it was much smaller than I expected. That’s not usually the case for Lemax pieces 😂. Anyways, great review, can’t wait for the next one!

I have the Pumpkin tree house and the larger pumpkin actually came unglued. I saw reviews where alot of others were complaining of the same thing. I suppose I can glue it back, I hate to return it since our store still does not have any Lemax pieces in yet. But it really is an awesome piece otherwise!

I'm trying to decide if I should return the treehouse or not, too. It seems like so many of them are faulty. Mine came with the birds busted off, but lots of Lemax come like that.

A lot of pieces do seem to be having that. Talking to a dealer friend, he seems to think the heat this year with transit times has caused glue issues to where it's gotten to hot and becomes pliable. Makes sense to me. I'd just glue it back!

If it's just a glue issue and nothing mechanically faulty, I'd just glue it back on. I'm so used to gluing pieces I don't even think twice about it anymore!

Doug your videos are so nice and really help me make my decision making much easier. I bought several of the Web Of Terror, The Witching Hour, The Isle Of Creepy Jacks and the Horrid Haunted Hotel and the Skull Cave Quarry and 1 Evil Spirits Whisky. Michaels is so slow in shipping. I did get 4 shipments today so I'm excited to see those. I really love this video!!

The pumpkin tree house was a must…. Problem was, when it finally came in, it was broken, - little pumpkin off, top bird broken, bats off etc. didn’t light up first attempt; so went to the local Michael’s, that actually is awesome, and everyone they had was broke…some you couldn’t find the pieces on brand new ones. So they were kind enough to heavily discount- My jacks creepy isle …. Every add on tree, and pumpkin characters were broken. No biggie to fix, and as you know, you eventually have to do repairs - just not so many new. On a note… I would donate or have an entry fee if you… or your channel, would have a separate village contest - for scariest, funniest etc. different categort- some how have a voting method and a cool prize- a house or shirt , heck bragging rights with all the talent out there would be fine with me!! Seems more fun than the standard corporate Lemax one…. Not to dis it or anything… just a thought. That would be a pretty big undertaking, I’m sure- hence the fee. Just think it would be fun on this channel. Have the village idiots discuss the top 3 or something. Well, Back to the Fender. Great job as usual and thanks for the channel! Hey Shane, i'll make a separate comment on the broken parts but you have a great idea here for the contest. I read your comment last night and thoughts have been swirling in my head on how best to do it. I think for a prize, doing some cool trophies and mailing them to the winner could be a lot of fun! (Most folks who would probably win the contests already own a myriad of pieces). I'd need to put the call out there, and then people would need to send me video/pics. I'm working on the idea- just give me a minute to figure out some details or if i could accomplish it this year. Thanks a bunch for the suggestion!

I think the heat this summer and long transit times have contributed to glue issues. Mine had a bit of runny glue and a couple other newer pieces have little accessories that just seemed to of moved and not actually broken off. My theory anyways! At least they are easy to fix/move back.

Awesome- having the top 3 stay hosted on your site- if that is still yours, would be cool too! I got the idea as I have entered Lemax contests and you never hear back, and seems like a , well ..just a thrown together thing just because the marketing employee had too, now not saying that’s the case. I also notice when researching ideas for villages, most are very old I’ve seen previously- ilI usually keep the same theme but change a portion each year and like options: Heck, maybe Lemax can get involved - appears I won’t be getting the distillery or skull cavern cause it keeps get putting back on order dates. Order early October for a late October delivery kind of misses the spooky town point-Maybe they can provide a “ choice” of a pick & use next year… throwing ideas and wishes out there! But I would rather this channel and it’s style run a contest. More down to earth and fun. Plus a little criticism helps for the following years builds cause my kids always says mine is the best!!! Take care!

@@shaneabrams7370 Hey Shane I'm going to post a video about it next week (I am going to plug you for the idea, let me know if i can use your full name or you'd rather Shane A or something) but I've work shopped this with the Patreon folks and here's the basic details September 1st through September 30th I'm going to open up submissions for people to send videos of their village in action to me. I will then be posting those in the Patreon group for people to vote on on October 1st. 3 Categories- Spookiest Village, Most Creative Village, Best Thematic Village. I'll keep voting open a week and I'll do winner announcements around October 7th, and those winning village videos will be posted to KZbin for all to see! I'm going to buy some cool spooky trophies to send to the winners. I've got a couple days to tweak it, but that's the general idea. By keeping voting to only Patreon folks it not only keeps it something special for them, but also makes it so it doesn't just turn into a popularity contest where people can have their friends vote for theirs. Most of the people in the group I know and are pretty hardcore villagers!

For me, I wouldn’t really know it’s a treehouse unless I read the package but it still looks great. Also I saw it in person and the price just seemed way too much for an accessory especially considering its size

yeah i get what you're saying here, though the ladder really is the defining part of it that says treehouse to me. It's definitely pricey for an accessory but the 39.99 i paid for now is a lot more appealing than the 100+ it's gonna go for in a couple years!
