Shigaraki technically never brought up betraying the Yakuza, but he implied that he wanted vengeance, and handed Toga and Twice over to the Yakuza expecting them to screw Overhaul over without needing to ask.

Yeah. He sent Toga and Twice without telling them to betray the Yakuza. So when they're asked, they honestly said no cause betraying the Yakuza is out of the equation at the moment. They really made themselves believe they would work with the Yakuza.

Something cool of the manga in this fight (or the number after mirioget shooted, I don't remember), is that the main page was mirio kneeled with Eri in his arms, while she hug him (he's holding her) and she is in front of all the 0 in mirio's custom, leaving only the 1, referring that he exchange the million of people that he wanted to save for eri

The went so dark for this arc. How Overhaul speaks to Eri is text book verbal abuse. He has her so broken down. I’ve had to deal with Domestic Violence victims for my job. It gave me chills when I heard what he was saying.

It really looks like the only reason Mirio even got hit by the spikes was because he pushed Eri out of the way of them, considering the way he's positioned and the direction her clothes and hair were flowing when she was shown sitting down. So potentially he could have kept fighting for even longer if it weren't for the handicap of trying to protect her.

It's not always about the power, but how it's used. His quirk had so many flaws & downsides, but he's trained to compensate for them. A number of quirks are like that in MHA. It's all about application of the quirk that makes it powerful. One For All sounds like a bad ass power, but that all depends on where you are in the line... and I'm not saying any more than that.

Dunno if it was brought up yet, but in the manga Mirio fought against Overhaul for fifteen minutes total... the last five of which while in his quirkless state. Mighty impressive indeed, I'd say! 😉 Oh, and Shigaraki never explicitly told Toga and Twice to betray the Yakuza. He may have _implied_ it, sure, but he never outright said it. So in a sense, they were being truthful to that guy when he questioned them, heh.

Chie hassake has no problem with quirks and to my understanding the whole point of taking quirks is just to level the playing field and make his line of work relevant again and even if he did it makes more to do it on yourself last because it makes stuff easier to do

Well it could make sens for Overhaul to eraze his quirk before those of everyone, but it would make it impossible for him to achieve his goal this way 🤷 I mean, if your goal is to cut both arms to everyone and you start by doing it on yourself, you'll have a hard time holding a knife, right ? 🤣 (By the way that is high level example lol) It will make it far easier for him to be the last one to have his quirk erazed 👍

4:30 Tomura is very smart, Twice and Toga were sent there for a reason, they both want revenge. Twice because he blames himself and Toga because Yakuza attacked the group she accepted ... Shigaraki didn't have to tell them to betray them or attack from the inside was enough ... "I trust you" or: do whatever you want there :D

This was a very emotional episode. 😢 4:35 It's all a technicality, Suzy. ;) Shigaraki never explicitly mentioned betraying them, so they were truthful in saying he didn't say anything about betraying them. He clarified they weren't actually siding with them, though, so...yeah, it's one big case of 'exact words.' lol Also, poor Toga. Her shapeshifting is imperfect in how her clothes will show through, so she has to take them off before using her quirk. That's a pretty nasty flaw. ^^''
