As an Aussie that plays on NA I’m very familiar with death by math. The worst is when you can hear your gun fire but then the game takes it back because you actually died 220 ms ago.

I'm from Australia and there is literally no middle ground for ping. Asia: 150, NA: 220, EU: 400. When I hear people complaining about ping, I just roll my eyes, you got no idea how luckt you are.

I think it's universal as it happens on Asia servers too. I have watched teams sit and camp a spot waiting to fire when the map clearly shows enemy approaching them from behind so often it is laughable.

Awhile back i had the game set to auto-connect, it would put me on sa and I wouldn't notice until i was in game....So i have played a couple, it's different.

Strange. When a clan member and myself played on the SA WoT we faced “super Bots”. Yep, no joke, not a crybaby, we were playing against teams with 50 to 60% bots on steroids. They never miss, know when to shoot gold, know WHERE to shoot your weak spots and win 70% of the time. Why WG, Why?!

The bad thing about SA is that there's no one playing during the day unless it's a Saturday or Sunday. And people from here will just go to USC, wich is the right thing to do honestly, the matchmaker takes more than 3 minutes at tier VIII. A good thing is, it doesn't have 3 SPGs every game, it happens sometimes but not nearly as often as in the USC server.

The full gold lemming rush that's the central america default is very very rare on SA. On my experience players on SA tends to spread and get all sorts of strong positions and camp to death. You can see on the vids that this tipe of spread and coordinated push on all flanks at same time never happens on Central America

As someone who plays NA from NZ, I feel your ping pain. It's hilarious when an ebr is close circling you and you have to aim off screen to hit it... We started with 100 ping, which was fine: by 2020, WG server is pinging around 300. But, can we transfer our account or server roam, like in every modern game? - Nope... WG to busy making another tier 8 premium.

Try playing low-to-mid tiers there - I've been on SA around midday UK time - Early morning SA time - You get 2 vs 2 real players, with rest of both teams made up by bots - Aces, Top Guns and High-Calibers every other game - LOL

Very misleading friend, carbon fiber is very tough, but it is not an isotropic material which means it fails when lateral strength is needed in application. This means that it is strong only in the direction it's meant to be strong such as an aircraft wing which is meant to handle force from a particular direction, but will be completely obliterated if force is applied in a direction against its fiber layouts.

Looking at comments about ping, I'm sure some people must have poor local ISPs - I'm in UK, got about 60mbps (not exactly the fastest ever), but I rarely get below 40 ping on EU, often in the 20s (I did get 120-something on EU3 a couple of days ago but just switched to EU1 and got 35-ish) NA I get 130-150, and SA usually around 220-250. Events seem to hike the numbers a little, but not by much usually

Yep typical gameplay on SA server either you shutout the enemy team or you get shutout... a close game is almost non existent down there... most teams always like to play defense (snipe) the whole game no matter what tank they are in

if you want to have a lot of fun try the SA server BUT play meme tanks... this is not for scores but for laughs. I do it a fair bit. Grab a ramming tank and just smash stuff or something like an even 90 and sit in ridiculous bushes (my fav) it is like they do not watch the crazy plays vids down there and trust me THEY WORK! The little crazy nooks and crannies of maps just get ignored.

The SA server is weird. There are a lot of bots. People that play like bots and literal world of tanks bots (when server pop is low). Of course there are some good players, but play a few dozen games on there and you'll see. (when I used auto login I'd end up on SA without realizing it....until the play starts)

in my opinion they should just shut down SA and bring back NA west and NA east. maybe they never existed on PC but they did on Xbox. SA has max like 500 players on weekdays, maybe 2k on weekends. At the same time, NA central has like 20k and 30k respectively.

Go to your PC's host file and block it. Just add a line with "127.0.0.1 wotna4.login.wargaming.net". You shouldn't have to do it but you know, it's what you can do.

My ping from the east coast is 40 for NA, 90 for EU and 165ish for SA. Keeping the SA server running by sacrificing goats does not make for the best gaming experience.
