Foist...I have 6 lemon and 6 lime seedlings going but they are growing really slowly so it will be a while before I get to do anything with my starts...For the Winter I have them in my garage growing under 14 hours of grow light a day and they look healthy enough but still growing slowly...I was under the impression that they would grow like weeds..Maybe next Summer...At least your trunks are thickening...Eager to see your progress...Thanks for sharing...

Thank you! Yeah I've seen a few other videos out there and I got the same impression about them growing like weeds. I think I just haven't quite figured out all their likes and dislikes yet. I might try one with a little extra organic material in the soil and see how that does.

Your lemons are coming along nicely! You keep them going strong all year? From outside to growtent?

I've sprouted some lemon seeds this year. We shall see. I've always thought of defoliation as letting light get to the trunk and the light , which wakes up the dormant buds.

Seems like defoliation tends to slow some trees down, but these lemons seem to thrive on it. Good luck on yours! Let me know how they do, I'm still learning these for sure.
