Theory: This is bf when he was younger and the main plot of this is him trying to go to sleep. The reason why bf came in mad in the intro is because he was told to go to bed, the shadow figure gives us a hint that bf used to be scared of the dark and the posters in the background also hint that he used to look up to daddy dearest and mommy nearest. The art style and how everything is simple and cute is because that would be best represent how a child would see the world, it would also explain the looks of boy and girl. Boy and girl could be how young bf sees his parents and also uses that to try to fight his fear or truama (lemon monster or demon could be a representation of either one), it also shows us that bfs parents have a scarier side to them. This is just what I think this is, if you have any ideas with this feel free to let me know. I'd like to see some other views from this.

If you didnt notice, all of the sprites have ending animations, where they finish singing a note and appear to naturally return to their idle sprite, instead of simply snapping back to their idles. It's amazing attention to detail.

I have no actual _proof_ of this, but I think the reason those two just show us is that they're some kind of guardian spirits of sleep. They start off looking like a typical depiction of a sleep paralysis demon, they can disappear/reappear/shapeshift/redo events seemingly at will, they chase away the monster under the bed (or above the shelf, in this case), and their entire purpose seems to be getting BF to sleep (first serenading him, then helping to burn off his excess energy). Even the mod's title is "Twinsomnia", relating specifically to sleep and insomnia. Honestly, even if that isn't the real story behind them, I like the idea of it anyway~ ^^

I love this mod. No major character cameo, no major drama, no over complex storyline. Just a simple time back when bf was you get and had the greatest pair of Abby sitters one can ask honestly.
