Aloha, you did everything right that's why he recovered so well. When fish are stressed they need more oxygen and I've used that method before with a saltwater purple tang placing the net with the purple tang in front of a air flow powerhead for over an hour and he recovered from actually laying down on his side at the bottom of the tank and is doing great today. Nice job. Remember any time you add medications of any kind always increase your oxygen flow. The medication depletes the oxygen in the water. Always loved the Albino Oscar variety, they have always been my favorite growing up as a kid to my adult age. I definitely need to get back in the fish🐡🐠🐟 hobby again. Glad you saved him.

@@HaYNFishKeeper Actually, no, I'm in IT. Specifically, manager of a support team. We can work from home, so that's good, but may of our clients are in businesses that are being hurt by the pandemic, and so my company has had to tighten belts as well and take on extra work. I'm currently doing two full-time jobs and that has meant a lot of long hours. No gaming for me for a while. 🥺 But so very glad to hear the lemon Oscar is doing so well!

I watch every video, try to catch every Insta, even if I don't get to them as soon as they drop. TBH, when I first started watching you, it was because of some of the comments you posted on someone else's channel, Zac's maybe? Anyhow, at first I liked the content a lot, but wasn't sure I liked the style. But the more I watched, I either got used to it and learned to appreciate you, or you changed it up a little, or something. I have no idea what actually turned me around, but I'm all on board now 😘 I miss the coconut hat, though lol. Am I the only one who truly appreciated it? 😁 ❤️

I called that around two weeks ago if you remember. Such a beautiful fish. Thank God you saved him. I used to think oscars were the meanest fish when I was younger. I had an albino tiger Oscar that just killed everything in my tank. I named him Hannibal the cannibal he was such a jerk. He killed a whole family of jack dempseys. I now know there are many other species that make oscars look peaceful by comparison. “Green terror” don’t even sound right, lol. I have a Venustus that makes Hannibal look like a nice guy, he’s in jail right now for assault and battery. Never a dull moment in this hobby. Stay well my bored brutha.

Dude. That Oscar is far from a Lemon Oscar trust me. A Lemon Oscar looks much more exotic than the Oscar that you have. It does have the black fins that resembles a lemons Oscar but that’s the only thing. What you have is called an Albino tiger Lutino Oscar. Lemon Oscars are solid yellow with very little tan on their heads and under their chin. Also, If a Lemon Oscar is a female it will have yellow eyes and black eyes if it’s a male. Your Oscar has orange eyes which is typically a sign of albinoism within the bloodline. .

Your so very wrong! lol! Albino oscars are cream white with red/orange blotches and little to no black at the edges of the fins. Lemon Oscars are a more white/cream color and have yellow blotches or tiger stripes instead of red and they have black at the edges of the fins. What he has is 100% a Lemon Oscar! Lemon Oscars have different variations of white/cream, yellow and black. Their are variations even in the same spawn.
