Thanh Dien was born with vision deficiency. He did not have many friends when he was young and the only companion that has been with him till now is the guitar. He has been a complete guitar autodidact since he was a kid. The thing that blows people's minds is that he plays the guitar effortlessly despite his vision problem. There is a good saying in Vietnam that I always believe "a person may have some talent to make up for his/her deficiency" and that's true for Thanh Dien's case.
