I am in love with this music. I am European and three years ago I began to listen and be fascinated by the music of Southeast Asia. But the people I know of Chinese origin seem to me to be very noble, honest, hard-working and never superficial and false. Speaking of music, I am surprised by the beautiful melodies made from the soul with musical scales very different from Western harmonies. I think it has to do with their pentatonic scale. Most of oriental asian music do (i.e. Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Korean and differs slightly with Japanese, Malaysian, Indonesian and Philippines.)
