He’s got Indianapolis musicians Vess Ruhtenberg (bass) and Devin Ashley (drums) backing him. They, along with Heidi Glück formed “the Pieces”. They made one album of great melodic pop songs around ‘02 or so

I agree with you 100%, not really sure why he would put a song in the set if he wasn’t gonna really play it, kinda disappointing. I actually like that one. I really wish the drummer would actually hit his drums as well, just seems pretty low energy overall
