The kachori Sabji is so yummy that even if you leave this locality, you have to come here to eat or have some parcel ...it's very very tasty. I assure that's one of the best sabji kachori one can have in Kolkata. Hygeine is maintained and very reasonably priced

I have seen and tasted at this joint long back during my trips to Calcutta when I stayed at Maharashtra Niwas near Hazira.I regularly took Metro from Jatin Das Park to Esplanade daily and back.Whenever i used the steps leading to the underground station I was mesmerized by the Soulful Rabindra Sangeet and the recorded voice of the Metro in Sweet Bengali Apner Station Rabindra Sangeet Dhan dekha.All unforgettable memories.

Could you please find out n make a video of a south Indian food shop if it still exists in this area i.e.Hajra. The idli, masala dosa, sambhar, coconut chutney were so delicious I hvnt found that taste aftr yrs of having south Indian food at various places in India n a veg pulao which i hvnt found anywhr.

I could instantly guess from seeing the food items on the plate in the very begining that it must be the shop which used to be my favourite n the address confirmed it. I see so many videos on eateries in Kolkata but always missed this one though I'm not sure it's the same shop because that shop wsnt an open one maybe changed over the yrs as I hvnt bn thr but the urad dal kachori kabuli chola aloo sabji green chilli pickle n sweet chutney n samosa r still my favourite.

I grew up here exactly on the same building above these shops😢 ..it was my maternal home....i can smell my childhood....i instantly recognized the place without seeing the captions...just by looking at the blue wall and the fact that the guy was facing the wall....i am 40

I don't think the kadhai was ever washed. A thick layer of black tar could be seen around the kadhai. The oil is as black as coal. Not at all hygienic. One is going to get severely sick after eating here.

Dear Indians, do not resign your good station in life and migrate to white countries. Go there for vacation but why bother if Kashmir is our very own Switzerland? The basic human right is to have a belly full of food and thus content, atleast once a day, so that our mind can smile and face life one day at a time. This is yet another reason why motherland remains motherland! What happens when you migrate is, you end up helping landlord/lady with paying their home loan instalments, anyway you cut and analyse it. Stay home and support homeland!
