Number 2 is just brilliant. The way Rayna get's up and defends her decision. I can see both sides, Deacon missed out but Rayna protected her daughter from any possibility of an unstable environment.

I swear.... when Ray hits that deep breath and says “why not” is such a poignant moment & so very real. She KNEW what was coming & there was a big part of her that dreaded it, but an even bigger part that dreaded the fact that she needed it. Deacon IS, not was, IS the love of her life and no matter what if his heart called out to hers, it answered. Ugh I CHEERED at that then and I’m cheering at it now🥺❤️

Number 4 actually had me in tears when it aired... it's one of my favourites. I love all of these moments, especially 1 (obvs), but 4 really pulls at the heartstrings...

OMG #1. Honestly, even with all the heartbreak in their past, what woman who loved a man like Deacon could resist such a proposal. If I were Rayna, he would never have made it out the door!

Kim7000000 The thing is she was ready to marry Luke. She was ready to move on and the feelings she felt with Deacon were already buried deep. She never thought he would propose like that. It is okay to be shock.

Katrina Lam I know but it would be nice to actually watch him have a child that he can watch grow up that is his, he was there for Maddie when she grew up but wasn't really part of her life. But yeah I'm sure they will end up getting married

Yeah I think so. EVERY fanfication (almost) has it written XD I've been reading them to cure me :P Deacon deserves that, watching his kid grow up.
