Hey everyone! We seem to be getting a lot of newcomers from this video, so I'd like to clear up some confusion. This is part of a fan-made musical, which follows a canon-divergent storyline, meaning that some parts of the musical are different to how they happen in-game. For example - and this seems to be causing the most confusion - we had Alphys die in our adaptation of the genocide route, which is why she's here as a ghost! Ok, when Frisk was singing my heart broke at all of the feels. When Sans started talking I was in awe at the voice acting. When I saw all of the art of him and Frisk I was blown away by the amount of love put into this song. When EVERYONE ELSE ARRIVED I started to vibrate like a Temmie high on Temmie Flakes. But when _past poses of Toriel and Undyne and Mettaton _*_turned out to be the eXACT POSES THAT SANS HAD BEEN MAKING THE WHOLE TIME!?!?_* Well, let it suffice to say pieces of my brain are currently scattered across my room. Honestly, I find the final lines of this song the most haunting, as all the monsters you killed prepare to get their revenge from beyond the grave, however, Sans knows that there is no way he can win and waits for the final strike. First of, great cover, i love it! Second, one particular thing about this song is very interesting... At 4:45 its implied that the ghosts of the killed monsters can use Sans' power to fight once more. I think thats a GREAT concept! Not only does this explain the origin of Sans' powers but its also clear why he ONLY uses them at the end of the genocide route! So what if Sans' power is exactly that? The power to use the powers of dead monsters. I mean sure, he doesn't have a reason to fight in the pacifist route but what if he also CANT really fight on his own? That he is some kind of last weapon of the monsters if they get brutally murdered? And on top of that, the power to use the abilities of the dead would be fitting for a skeleton and would make him even more unique! (And it could take the hype away from him, which would be great) So yeah, I'm sorry for this very long text but i just had this thought and yeah... pretty neat huh?

Ricardo Calabaza as far as I know, sans' ability to do damage to you is based entirely on you LV gained. Like that's how it calculates the purple damage overtime, so it's probably not to far off! I don't know if it's fanon or Canon, but tm with a name called Karmic Retribution...

Determination is simply not giving up. No matter how hard things get, or how badly you want to just give up, you keep on going. Sometimes you just want to let go, when it seems like what you’re going for is just out of reach, sometimes you tell yourself if what you’re trying to get is worth the great amount of effort that you put in it. When things get hard, you start thinking that it's not worth it, and you just want to let it go, but let me tell you this, the more pain and suffering you put into something, the better it'll feel when you get it.

This is officially my favorite of this musical and all of the musicals out there. I love how Frisk, even thou the never show the emotion anywhere else, actually feels remorse and guilt unlike we thought. The beginning where it is just Sans sound great, good job to... Hunter, I think it is? I'm still not very familiar with the the voices, sorry. But when everyone jumped in, holy crap was I astounded. It sounded beautiful and I love the idea how they add their power, defying death it's self, just to help a dear one finish off a crazed demon. And, tbh, I felt like I would cry in Frisk's place. Tories hates you, Papyrus absolutely has no faith in you changing, and Undyne, Alphys, and Mettaton completely loath you, and are singing to you through death just to make sure you know about it? I would definately cry. Anyways, this is beautiful, and you all deserve every bit of love thrown at you. And yes, I know I'm late, but gosh I had to say this

Adding on to what you said about Frisk, it’s implied through their behavior with the Abandoned Quiche and other pieces of dialogue in the game that Frisk is an abandoned child. Meaning not even their parents cared for them. In the underground, the player could’ve given them a chance to find a family in the monsters, but in Genocide, they’re completely alone and are unloved by both worlds. It’s so tragic and I hate that the effects of the Genocide Route on Frisk are ignored in favor of its effects on Chara and/or the monsters.

The only kill i think Chara does is Sans, because you don't get the kill count for that, and regardless of what weapon you have equipped, the final blow uses the knife animation. Because Frisk/the player missed and Chara was impatient. Really, Chara's extremely passive, merely guiding Frisk/the player.

now, i could be completely wrong. but... It seems like, sans aren't singing to frisk, he's singing to YOU. "it's all about the high score, isn't it?" and "You knew what you wanted this was not an accident" Now, frisk wouldn't know sans would fight them, however, YOU would know, YOU went through the grind, YOU made the high score of YOUR LV and EXP. YOU wanted to do genocide, it was no accident. only actually talking to frisk when he says "come on buddy? do you remember me? please, if your listening" paired with the beginning verse by frisk just shows how frisk isn't a mindless body for the player, but actually being controlled beyond their control. "i don't want to, it's not right, but a force is compelling me to fight, ready my knife though it's not me, there is something taking over" Frisk is an actual person being compelled or controlled by YOU to fight, kill. and the end, "And i know, you'll put me to an endless sleep." Sans is looking directly at us, showing how he knows you will eventually reset enough to kill him. but that's my theory.

*H O L Y J E S U S G O D S W E E T G O D .* This is brilliant. I need to write an essay. This is truly an almost perfect interpretation of Sans' battle. The first part has the feeling of complete and utter fear that truly shoots through the player's heart and Frisk's SOUL. The second scene entails the story, shock, and dramatic flare that runs through Sans' battle. The final act paints the picture of chaos and regret that you feel for the player in the game. It reminds you of the immense shock that runs through your mind, the sadness that runs through your heart, and the sins that run down your back. Not to mention, RichaadEB's arrangement of MEGALOVANIA is truly spine-chilling, and makes you recognize the insane chaos happening around you. It makes you feel like you're playing the game and fighting this fight in it, like you might actually have a chance of dying. (I swear, the fact that a song could literally kill someone is a complement.) And don't get me *STARTED* on the artwork. THE ARTWORK, MAN!!!! HOLY CRAP! The re-usage of art just rubs in the already powerful feeling of regret, and the original work is absolutely beautiful in every regard. The art during the line, "GO, JUST GO!", (Which could really be 'Part Four' all on its own) flashing images of the awful things they've done, further cementing the awful sensation of painful regret in your mind. I REALLY LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU DID TOO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
