I’m the one dude that got the Band-Maid theme without having to google it. By that axiom of “if one person gets the reference it’s perfect”, that is categorically one of the best themes.

WOOO MOOSESCHLONG! (I was the guy walking along with the Moosemobile during tech.) A huge thanks to the Flying Pigs guys. Without them, we wouldn’t have run on Sunday. Also a big thanks to Bad Decisions racing, who lent us their welder, and Nightmare on Elm St for other tool lending action.

Your host made them out to be a joke or a meme/weeb band but Band-Maid is a group of extraordinary musicians fighting against this stigma. If you like rock music I highly recommend checking them out. Some of you may know Babymetal. They are not "another Babymetal"; Band-Maid don't dance or sing in high-pitched voices (the singer's voice has obviously been pitch-shifted here to avoid copyright). They write, compose, arrange, and perform their own music. It's pretty sad that has to be said, but that's where we are right now I suppose. If you're unsure or don't have much time, just give their song "Dice" literally 3 seconds. I also recommend "Blooming" or if you're worried about Japanese lyrics, try their instrumental "onset".

@@EveryoneRacers Boris and Melt Banana or GTFO. Otoboke Beaver is also an acceptable answer.

@@ericrood510 I got to see Melt Banana once in Nashville at a defunct tiny little punk venue. I have never seen such a chaotic mess of stage diving and mosh pit in my entire life. Also, great records for clearing out the bar after last call.

8:50 "And if there is anything more midwestern than having all three of those at a race, it's ham on potato rolls at a lutheren funeral" - as someone who's family also escaped the midwest, this line killed me

I can’t wait to build my team and be part of the east coast lemons scene. I’m thinking about a mid 70s euro build with a turbo’d, 5 speed Ford ranger drive train. Give me 2 years!

Any chance the online results / entrant list on " Mylaps " can be adjusted to include the make / model of car entered? All it shows is car number / team name.

Right now there is a listing in Eagle Creek OR for a 1983 Plymouth Scamp for just over $500. Unfortunately, I am not in a position to fund a new team. Please someone buy that car to race at LeMons. It is all of the look of an El Camino with all the reliability of 80's Mopar.
