I am thoroughly dumbfounded by the early closure of the show. It is imperative that we showcase authentic stories of women on stage, presented by individuals who can aptly capture their greatness. The highly anticipated soundtrack is eagerly awaited. I had the privilege of attending LEMPIKA twice, and it was a truly enchanting experience.

@@actuallyroselalonde no-the producers bailed before they started losing money. Then there would have been the risk of not being able to pay people. I think it was a mistake to put this on a big Broadway stage. It should have been presented in a different off Broadway venue with the marketing needed to attract an appreciative audience.

@@missdesmd Flying to Close to the Sun too soon it seems. I saw some Footage tho and the Soundtrack is awesome but on Stage it kinda seems, unfinished almost? If you know what i mean. It sure needed some runs off Broadway but i WISH it would be there because its such a rough Diamond which would be a Polished Juwel.

The depth of her voice, the music, the clarity of what it’s like to allow yourself to fall in love with another woman. So incredibly lucky to have been able to witness this show twice. Forever wishing the rest of the world had their chance

Saw it twice near the end and would have gladly seen it again if it was still playing. This show did not get the chance it absolutely deserved.

The fact that it only ran for three months and would have KILLED had it stayed for all of June is DEPRESSING. Why the hell did it only run from March-May? Like... what??

Absolutely breathtaking. Literally on repeat. I am so sad I am not going to be able to see this beautiful piece of art. I had tickets for June 1 😢 and I don’t live in the city. . Hopefully a pro shot will be released.
