Played for Sweden in 1958 WC. Came in second, losing the final 2-5 against Brazil. Difficult to get noticed with Pelé and Garrincha as rivals. But the Swedes had a good team, it wasn't the typical local squad favored by refs and helped to reach the final matches so as to maintain the excitement, so common in those days.
