In this video I tell the ridiculous full story of the time in 1991 that my friend and I were homeless and squatting in a house that we weren’t supposed to be in. The landlord was on his way and we thought it would be pretty funny to pull some childish pranks on him and film his reaction with a camcorder when he arrived to evict us.
It never occurred to us that he might be upset and decide to bring the police to apprehend any vagrants squatting in his house, which is exactly what he did!
I catch the interaction on tape and then we barely escape by taking off running!
My story is aided by the actual VHS footage and photos from the time.

Damn, should have named the band "Mayhem Maniacs" because that's what you caused everywhere you went. There was a group that did the same thing here in Pa. Except they sued the landlord for unlivable conditions and repairs for the damage they did themselves. He got so pissed he showed and they locked themselves in the house laughing at him. Except he had a bulldozer around the corner and started knocking the house down with them in it. They got out and started running when he started shooting a 357 magnum over their heads as they ran. At least that's what he told the cops. Lol. Needless to say they didn't have to pay the back rent or damages.

That is funny. The landlord and his wife seemed pretty laid back about the whole situation while your buddy was feeding them bullshit stories. At that point the landlord was cutting his losses and just ready to clear the property. Hey Len, I have 4 years on you, but all of these stories bring me right back to the mid 80's before I joined the Marine Corps. Being in a band, being a partier, and getting evicted from apartments. I lived it to. I'm glad to be far away from that lifestyle at the present but I don't regret any of it. All the kids today are spoon-fed little pansies that have never left their mother's womb's. They never have had to or will ever live on the wild side as we did. Cheers!

I love this shit because I was born in 1984. I was a little kid while Len and friends were in high school. I can recall sitting on a big ass Bart Simpson skateboard wearing neon body glove gear bombing down a hill that’s probably not as big as I remember. This is when Nickelodeon was awesome and my favorite show was Wild and Crazy Kids. Things got darker around 92…so I love being reminded of the brightness and fun of the skate/surf look. I posted ur channel on my FB. My mom was one of the gurls. Graduated 198X one year late. Anyway, went to rehab, After HS. born in 1964. Used to carry a boom box on her shoulders through the early 80s. I think that's where i get my partying from. Dad really wanted her to be wholesome. Well she made 3 kids and I'm here. Awesome story!! I like the riff that comes on at 9:58 could you tell me what track is it? (Keep the cartoonish picture storytelling mixed with the original pictures btw. Really enjoyable) Also, when I watched your video I saw that at several parts the law gave a 3 days eviction notice. Is the 3 days rule still accountable in the US? And do you happen to know is the 3 days rule universal or only a US thing?

The riff that comes in at 9:58 is a copyright free track from the KZbin audio library. The have a library of instrumental tracks that KZbin creators can use in videos free of charge or credit. They're usually only a minute or so long, sometimes less. I don't know the legalities of the 3 day rule or if it's only a U.S. thing but in my experience if you break the rules of your lease or damage the house in some way, etc, landlords have the right to give you a 3 day notice instead of the standard 30 day notice.
