@LikeN ReactGang You do know that the "talent" in a lot of modern performers comes from audio engineers right? You rarely hear anybody discuss the people work behind the scenes, there's no need to undermine other jobs in the music industry because you can only see one side of things.
@youllshootyourheartoutkid5 жыл бұрын
Scott October it’s literally not hard to set up auto tune. anyone could easily learn to apply it live. all they would have to do honestly is get a list of all the scales of the songs he is planning on singing and apply them when needed.
@ScottOctober5 жыл бұрын
@@youllshootyourheartoutkid It's definitely not just pitch correction that goes into all of this. Lol.
@youllshootyourheartoutkid5 жыл бұрын
Scott October well literally any artist performing live needs to have compression/eq treatment done. so that talent still is on travis scott. i’m not slighting the audio engineers at all but it’s not fair to say travis isn’t talented and they are when their job isn’t really to complicated if you know what you’re doing.
@ScottOctober5 жыл бұрын
@@youllshootyourheartoutkid I never said Travis wasn't talented so I don't know where you got that idea from. And you are over simplifying the entire live sound process. It's not a show at some 50 seat dive bar, it's on a whole different level.

@@cogplays6872 You can always count on one dimensional metal fans to go the distance and put in effort just to shit on a music genre they don't fuck with. It's almost like Metal and rock music is their only personality trait just how tinder thots only personality trait is watching The Office.

@@numetalguitarist2377 you really think ima take the bait on that? xd (also you might wanna hide your playlist. You sound inconsistent when you got Post Malone in your favorites my dude)
@ivanmoll95365 жыл бұрын
@@numetalguitarist2377 you cant compare them at a fundamental level as H.U and Travis Scott are in two different genres and styles that aim for different sounds via instrumentation, song structures, and at times lyrical focus. Now H.U is an amalgamation of the worst trends and cliches from the early 2000 nu-metal scene and the atrocious poppy "emo" rock that was going on at the time as well. From the cliche instrumentals, to the bland melodramatic vocals along paired with yet again cliche lyrics and rap verses that only angsty 13 year olds would find insightful , it is garbage. Meanwhile Travis is actually building upon the previous blueprint of trap music and elevating it to something new and original with the more spaced out and psychedelic production and a grander presentation. So as far as these artists being quality in their respective genres Travis does more for Trap than H.U does for rock music. So yeah Travis is better than H.U lmao

s marz who cares about that tho? Do you find a song you like and then go «hold up need to see who wrote this if its more than the main artist i cant listen to it»

Sicko mode wasn't even that good compared to his other stuff. I miss antidote
@a.p.b.96615 жыл бұрын
s marz i get your point and i agree, but this depends on the type of song. If i want to listen to a «feel good» song i dont really care about the lyrics because i listen to it to feel joy, in general rap however i do tend to search for the more in depth meaning in the lyrics to those artist who wrote it. But more often than not the people who wrote the lyrics dont affect how i view the song. But i see where you are coming from

A lot of people give Travis Scott shit for using "excessive" auto-tune but I think the amount of auto tune he uses suits his voice, although it did become kind of generic at this point
@Stef777775 жыл бұрын
People don't realize that autotune doesn't magically make your voice good. You have to fit your voice with it and know how to use it. Travis proved that

Travis' talent is to use Auto tune in his whims. Technically, achieving likeable sound with auto tune is not always easy. It does not work magically makes you sound better but to enhance, it really does require effort to achieve a fitting sound. Travis is like the bender of Auto tune

i don’t want to hear people say that rappers with auto tune have no talent. it’s the way they use the auto tune is what makes them good or not. Travis has perfected the art. he can rap a hype ass song or a sad song and it could sound perfect.
