He clearly has a love/hate relationship with using how sexy he is. He uses it to get attention (why else where leather pants and sunglasses every interview), but resents it when his sexiness vs his intellect and artistry is what gets attention in interviews. I've watched a bunch of interviews and he shuts down immediately if the initial questions are about his physical appearance or his love life.
