This boat was for sale as salvage years ago, thinking 5 or more. It had damage to the port rear corner and underside of the hull. It appears to be less than we see here though. However that was before the damage was opened up etc. Assuming this was a different incident, unless it sat that long.

I wonder what would’ve happened if the boat had the shaft drives instead of surface drives ? Or did it have shaft drives ?

I don't quite understand the engineering of coring right at a hard chine. Don't get me wrong, Magnum, Cigarette, Squadron all had superior construction, but I would always go solid laminate at keel and chine.
