After watching this I am going to give my little daughter a cuddle. It makes me sad to see how childhood experiences can really affect people in later life. Imagine this man had a better upbringing. Together with his grit and determination he would have made a great success of himself in a field where he didnt need to feed off hate all the time. And expose himself to a lifetime of pain and settling scores. Im glad though that in the end he made a success out of the life he chose. RIP Lenny,

@sadikmeah40579 жыл бұрын
Revelian1982 True. But I was more talking about the inner self. He didn't look content. It was more a case of just getting on with life. I don't think appearing in Lock Stock makes up for all the shit he had to go through.

@@iainpattison903 both Roy Shaw and Frank warren said Lenny was a terrible bully .He would buy Kelly his daughter 30 chocolate Easter eggs but fly into a rage if she chewed her dinner too loudly.. he was capable of terrible acts of violence.and acts of tenderness. doctors told her he had a bad case of bipolar .There were times I hated him and I looked at him like he was a bully. She said ..She believes if he’d had the right medication as a young man his life could have been completely different. Kelly has spent her adult life trying to get to grips with the demons of her childhood. It got to the stage where I couldn’t even laugh at his jokes. We did live in fear of him, but I didn’t understand he had this condition. So Lenny wasnt the angel everyone thinks .but his childhood had alot to do with it ..

I want to say something here. Lennys book was almost like a manual to me in terms of how a real man should conduct himself and how he should behave and I like to think that book and the way Lenny was rubbed-off on me. I have worked in some evil places and fought some hard men. I was known as a nasty, evil, spiteful bastard to wronguns, but to good people I was regarded as a kind, friendly, nice guy. And to me, that is what Lenny was all about. A genuinely Lovely man who did what he had to do.

@fabregasfan1 Someone once asked Lenny who he might regard as a hero. He thought for a while, & replied 'Mother Theresa'... That gives you a far greater insight into the true man than his bare knuckle fights & street rep ever could. Behind the public persona was a proper man, a good friend, husband & father. He deserved a much kinder conclusion to his life than the one he got.
