I hope you like using the system. It's not that hard to learn the basics, though to get good at it does take some practice. Have fun while practicing. Don't pressure yourself. Having a journal to take notes and look back on is helpful. Rana's book is tops and should get you on your feet. Good luck!

Hi Marilyn, the mass market version of this deck will be available within a week, on October 15, 2013. There are currently no links to purchase it that I'm aware of, but once it is published (U.S. Games Systems, Inc. is the publisher), they will be available on Amazon.com and book sellers. I just ordered these cards and the book by Rana George, and I look forward to receiving them. I usually read intuitively and only seldom am I drawn to consult any book. This deck intrigues me (hence the purchase) and as I watched this video, I was wondering, seeing as there are multiple meanings to the cards, if reading them intuitively is what's happening. I feel that knowing what they may "possibly" mean is a guideline and then I let my intuition tell me what meaning is appropriate for the client I'm reading for. Your thoughts?

Hi Donna. I just got my Gilded Reverie today. It's beautiful. I was wondering if you can tell me if I'm interpreting the cards correctly--based on the booklet included. I asked the cards to tell me something about myself today, and the cards I pulled from left to right were: Birds, Book & Clouds. I interpreted this to mean that there is a passing of knowledge or information that is not to be trusted? Would I be the receiver of the knowledge or the passer? Yikes... Thanks.

Yes, it can mean harvesting. The way I've seen it is that the harvest seems to be by culling from something else. An example, I got Scythe/Dog, and someone was harvesting someone else's friend list on facebook, culling their friends and making them their own. So none were lost by the first person whose friends were being taken, but the person doing it was going to exit and defriend the first person (Scythe) but take some others along with them. Flowers/Bouquet is also another harvest: gift/gain.

Could the ring beside the man mean he's materialistic? Or maybe the ring as the 3rd card and the fish in between means he spends his money on exorbitant things? or back to materialism. That's what I saw... anyway. I bought these cards last night on Amazon. Can't wait to get them!

yes, the ring next to the men could definitely indicate that he is married. If you are asking a question of the cards, the fish next to them could indicate that he spends a lot of money if that is what you are asking about when you talk to the cards in that context. Absolutely.

So first two cards are like (NOUN + ADJECTIVE) -----> 3rd card heightens the two cards? Is there ever a chance the Noun isn't specified by the gentleman or Lady? Or do you always have to pull the gentleman (if reading about a man) or pull the Lady (if reading about a woman) to ground the reading and then pull 2 cards you are drawn to; 2nd card being the describer and 3rd card heightening the overall meaning?

What if the first cards are positive but followed by a significator? Does it mean that the significator doesn't possess these positive attributes because they are to his left?

I'm just starting out with Lenormand but I've been reading tarot for many years, as these cards are more literal does this mean we do not use intuition? If this is the case how do you know what the cards mean if they have many different meanings ie you say this ' could mean this but it may be this? I feel pretty lost with it? Not a dumb question at all. You have discovered the precise time when intuition comes into play. If you're confused about the meaning, tighten up the question and do small spreads.

Could the birds perhaps mean "Twitter?" For instance I asked if a person would follow me on twitter if I gave him my handle and pulled the birds card ( i did your 3 card yes/no spread with this card coming up as the 3rd) and I am taking that as a yes haha I feel that the birds card enforced it more seeing that the icon for the site IS a bird and the card means social things etc. The other 2 cards were Stork+ Book. this is really interesting lol
