Absolutely love the ice blue & grey design. Cutest magnetic keyboard and back kick stand. You can adjust it too. I love it. The screen is 400 nits and is absolutely crystal clear.

Have you used a pixel slate lately? I have the core M3 version, and it's great. No performance issues, and chrome OS has evolved nicely over time to suit tablets. I use the brydge keyboard because I wanted a more rigid one. Price point is excellent these days if you look around as well Overall, while I'm here because I'm interested in a smaller chrome OS tablet for drawing on the go, I have no delusions about the actual performance of this vs my pixel slate.

I bought this. I am extremely happy with it. I wanted a small device to carry around that i can do things like program arduino, web dev and other basic tasks. Absolutely love it and worth the money! $269 for a 128G device for me! Installing linux kept kept failing for me so i had to do it through crosh. Some other things i did was uninstall all google apps that i could and installed things like libre office. Downside is this is running on an ARM processor so this will not run VSCode currently. Luckily there is another version of VSCode called Codium that is literally VSCode that runs on ARM CPUs.

I would buy it again but it's not very useful for work. If I use it at work it's to check email and read documents. The keyboard is decently spaced and easy to type on. That's it for work. Duet is not setup for using spreadsheets and I compared it to my Acer 715 that is a workhorse. The Duet does not have a 10key pad, does not have a dedicated delete key which are two minimum must-have's for spreadsheets. Another shortcoming is the Duet keyboard has to be on a flat surface. So, for my needs, Duet is not meant to be an all purpose notebook. What I really enjoy about Duet is it's amazing battery life, quick processor, and bright screen.

I had this chromebook and I needed to return it. It was fine, in almost everything, but the pen was so dan sensitive with no way to change that in the settings. It drawed even when you were like 3mm above the screen and that was a huge dealbreaker for me. But if you dont care for the pen, it really is a solid device for a solid price

It's less costly than the S7 and S7+, which are of course Android. I just wish that Lenovo would have offered at least an 11.6" to choose from because I really prefer Chrome but would also like a larger screen. The S series Android cost so much, it's difficult to justify the expense. Still can't buy the Lenovo where I live because they are on backorder. It's as though they sold out of them as soon as Lenovo announced. And, where's the pen?

I am based in Birmingham, UK, I got mine from an online company called Adsis. I was sceptical but took the plunge and the customer service was fantastic, got the tablet within 24 Hours. They have hiked the price up though, I got mine for £289, but it's notlw £310 and I think shipping is also a tenner. However, I wouldn't recommend getting less than 128gb. Hope this helps 👍🏾

While I never been a fan of Chrome OS in the first place, I actually do like this idea. I really loathe the idea of buying a Chromebook laptop because you can get a proper Windows 10 laptop with a much better spec for the same money. But Chrome OS on a tablet does makes sense, especially with a detachable screen like this Lenovo. While I am tempted with this tablet, I'll wait for its successor or any new Chrome OS tablet with the recently-launched MT8192 or MT8195 chipset.

You can use MS Office apps via Google App Store and they'll have full (mobile app) functionality. Otherwise, you can use Office365 if you have a subscription, or of course Google Docs.

The Duet supports USI stylus / pens which are relatively new so options are limited. Lenovo and HP have USI pens as well as some other non-computer/tablet manufacturers. Search USI pens Chromebook for some videos and reviews.

This is what the new kindle HDX should've been. I bought the kindle 8 plus because I thought it would be superior to my 2013 kindle hdx. It wasn't. The new kindle's have a cheap feel front and back, bulky. The swiping response on the browser seems delayed. I have the old kindle 7 inch too, another great. I have no idea what happened. I ended up getting the duet at Best Buy open box for $180 (on sales new rn for $229). It's exactly what an kindle hdx 2020 should be if it existed. Only issue I have with chrome os, what do you do when it freezes? Hopefully I figure it out. Sorry Amazon, I'm usually a fanboy, I just needed a media device, thought 7 years would be a worthy no brainer upgrade, you didn't even do that. You're going back.
