Thank you for the clear and informative video. I followed it yesterday, and got the hinge replaced easily. It's worth noting that the 10 screws that hold the base cover are not identical - there are 4 * 4mm screws, and 6 * 6mm screws. When re-assembling, put the short ones at the 4 screw holes at the "front" of the computer (the side without the hinges). Page 52 of the official service manual has an easy to follow diagram - download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles_pdf/e31-80_hmm_en_0923.pdf Thanks again for your video.

My hinges are stuck in a particular position and have has lead to crushing of all the screw holder on the base. Any tips on fixing the screw holder? so I can attach the new hinge.

Basically yes, but you need to take care about WIFI Antennas by removing the whole screen.

The new hinge is structurally worse than the original one: a nut without a stopper, there is no washer under the nut. The nut is unscrewed, the cover does not hold. It is better to immediately remake the nut to the thread sealant.
