Have you tried tiny 11 on the Legion? I once tried running Chris Titus' windows script on mine. I couldn't use Vantage or Legion Toolkit after that. Had to reinstall windows. If Tiny 11 doesn't have this problem, I could see myself using Windows 11 instead of 10 XD

My Legion handles Windows 11 with no problems at present. But the Surface is to old in specs so Tiny 11 Builder make it usable again.
