What's with this outrage? Lmao. You don't even know the total watt of the whole system. It says the charger has 140 watt power rating. What's disappointing is Lenovo not using the new 140 watt usb c charging standard. 100 watt usb c charger might not enough if the tdp and tgp combined uses more than 100 watt.

Sorry to tell you, but you literally are wrong here. This is not a proprietary Power Adapter, but a USB type C one. I still agree with you that this could be a small normal charging adapter with Gan Technique like from a smartphone, because in terms of size this is definitely the category heavy brick. But it still is a all usable usb type c charger.I really don't know where the people in the comments have it from that it is not a USB C, but a proprietary connector. In the video you don't see such a proprietary one on the laptop, so where should the proprietary charging connector be?

The charger is actually USB-C which is awesome. The problem is that it does not support the new PD 3.1 standard. The new PD 3.1 support charging up to 240W via USB-C but Lenovo chose a specific volts and amps that are not part of the new standard, therefore you need to have a propriatary Lenovo 140W charger to enjoy the maximum power. Even if other brands like Anker has a 140W charger, you will not able to use it, it will only provide 100W

@@Lenovo-PC I meant as an extra port, not move every USB-C port on the right. The Yoga 9i 14 Gen 8 has it perfect, 2 USB-C ports on the left and 1 USB-C port on the right. If you could do this for the next generation Slim Pro 9i I would buy it instantly. Also add in an OLED option if you can :)

God this laptop I was waiting for years amd 7840hs perfect, ram up to 32gb ddr5x perfect, screen three choice nice(I love that oled's pure black so is there oled choice?), graphics 3050 or 4050 super nice but 55w? For me the only bad point is there is no OLED option. Not for the AMD model, nor for the intel one. And unfortunately, their highest end laptop (Yoga Pro 9i) will also not get OLED, just IPS or MiniLED

@@RM-el3gw because of the “infinite” contrast, the amazing nice and saturated colours, and no bleeding edges, no dead pixels. I know OLED comes with burn-in risk, but I can take that risk, because I can do things to prevent it or at least slow down the process

@@Lenovo-PC the fact that you ask for a trade off is why I bought the LG Gram that has all the ports... Also hdmi is an easy trade, you already need a cable, so a USB C video out to HDMI is not a big deal since you need a cable no matter what, but a micro SD built-in eliminates the need for yet another adapter. Also do you realize how friggin tiny a microSD card is??? To call this a "pro" laptop without some basic functionality is sad

I know my comment will not affect the product development, but @Lenovo please tell me: Why no OLED display for this laptop? You just fixed so many things from last year’s Slim 7 Pro X, but I was hoping for an OLED version for this year. And that is my only struggle here. I will either buy an Acer Swift X (due to OLED, RTX 4050, USB-C charging, enough ports) or this Yoga Pro 7 (with RTX 4050 + Ryzen 7840HS). The plus for the Yoga laptop is the exceptionally well built house. My wife has the OG Yoga Slim 7 with Ryzen 4600U and I just never want to put it down. If I will go with Acer Swift X I’ll not have this premium feel, but it will,be an OLED.
