It worked great! Thank you so much. My nephews tablet was stolen and reset by the thief. Multiple attempts at a hard factory reset did not work. He's only 10 years old and couldn't remember his Gmail account name or password that another adult had set up for him when he first received the tablet. All of his apps and music, etc. are gone because he can't remember his information, but at least the tablet is usable once again.

Thank you very much. This was actually a lot easier than another video I previously used. Did have problems getting "assist" to work on email page. Was able to get "assist" to work in the wifi section. Also had to download the files from your Google Drive. When I downloaded the newer versions was missing the apk files you show on your video, so thank you also for providing a link. Fixing tablet for a friend that forgot the password. Thought I was going to have to trash the tablet👍👍👍

worked like a charm after I figured out that using the assist option anywhere except for highlighting the portion on the Wi-Fi password where you enter it it wouldn't work otherwise so once I figured that out everything went Clockwork so thank you very much from Canada

On password screen i could not assist but if you goto wireless network selection pick a random and where you enter any password you can assist there. This works great apart from no access to google drive but a quick google search of the exact filenames and download then finish with file manager to open. Thanks for a great vid

thanks so much! read the comments for the assist workaround. downloading the files can be a pain but just reinstall the file manager once u got em. after the ending it should work just hit next and wait

With some steps done differently I was still able to circumvent FRP on my tablet. I used assist when already connected to WiFi and when I typed some bogus characters to connect to another WiFi, selected them and then used 'assist'. I downloaded the same file manager apk, but also from the web Android_6_GAM_HardReset.info.apk and quickshortcutmaker-2-0-1.apk. The most recent version of quickshortcutmaker (2.4.0) didn't install.

same happend to me but i found a work around, you need multiple wifi networks in the area for this to work thou, first: login to you own wifi network. but instead of pressing next go to another a coded wifi network 2nd: type whatever you want in the password field 3rd if you select the type text and press assist it will work, atleast it did by me. hope this will help greetings

You must hit the first assist, when typing in the wifi password because if you go to the email line, it wont allow you to use the assist on many models
