Would depend, does the fan not power at all? Is the fan not running even though the CPU is warm/hot (you can check that with various software)? If the fan still works when the CPU needs cooling, I don't think you need to replace it, as this would be an expected behavior (to keep fan noise low)

my stylus is stuck and I can't open the casing. My ThinkPad L13 Yoga Gen 2 seems to be a revision model. 😥

@@chopcookies turns out, that the there are different types of L13 Yoga Gen 2's. The discounted one that I bought didn't actually really have a stylus. It just looks like the end portion of a stylus that actually is only dust cover that also serves as a place holder (that you can only remove by opening the laptop up, which isn't particularly easy without teardown tools) You need to buy the intended stylus separately unfortunately and replace the cover with it or get an external supported stylus like I did after said revelation 😪. (Really weird of Lenovo not to specify the exclusion of the stylus in the description or papers of the advertised model.)

@@chopcookies Good luck communicating with the Lenovo Support. I feel like their support has gotten replaced with AI, because they weren't able to write proper replies to the questions I had 🫤. The 20VKS0LM01 model (the one I have) definitely has the fake pen (dust cover). If you want to buy a replacement pen for the L13 Yoga Gen 2, than you should get the ThinkPad Pen Pro - 8.
