Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Yoga Gen 2 (2-in-1) - First Impression and Unboxing

Thanks a lot for this video! Will watchb your in-depth review of this next. Currently deciding whether to get this X13 Yoga Gen2 or a X1 Yoga Gen6 for university and as an office/browsing machine. I think it will come down to screen size and battery life.

We had it to test at our company... its getting VERY warm under less load

I got both the X13 Gen 2 and X13 Gen 2 Yoga with me and the Yoga is warmer than the X13 Gen 2. For my unit the light load was okay but once few things were open and working more the Yoga is much warmer than I expected as well you will see it in the review video soon =), thanks for expressing your experience with this laptop too @Icemine =).

Thanks for a great review. Looking forward to the follow up one. Just would like to ask few things about this model, if I may. - Keyboard. Would there be other tp models that has the same(or similar) keyboard, i.e. X1C G9, T15 G2 etc? I wanna see how the key depth has changed, but I can't find any lenovo stores close by where I can test this specific model first hand. - Heat Control. Some reviews say heat control of this model is quite improved compared to other Yoga series models. But seems like it still gets quite warm even with low load. How would you rate the heat control x13 yoga g2 compared to other TP series? I'm currently using X1C 5G and it gets quite warm under low load too, usually in the average of 65-77'c. Thanks!

Can you clarify what the difference between this and the nearly identical X1 yoga gen6?

First is the weight, X1 Yoga g6 is about 1.4kg and 14". X13 yoga G2 is 1.2kg 13"

Normally not, but can be configured or updated with Wwan later on

Is this Intel Evo certified?

It isn't Intel Evo certified my guess is it might not have achieve the 9 hours battery life test for Evo certification but I could be wrong.
